Have had my 2015 E - Class for two years. I have only just noticed that the ambient lights are on permanently. Does anyone know if this should be the case? I have lights switched to auto and they are not on but ambient lighting is. Thank you.

I noticed that one of the rear ambient lights wasn't working so decided to investigate. Turned out to be a simple fix. The tracks on the connector had worn through and were no longer making contact with the electrical supply. A pot of silver conductive paint and 10 minutes work fixed it...
