Can anyone tell me how to identify the "constant live" wire/s that run down either side of the car? I am attempting to fit illuminated sills that I bought on E-bay. Each "sill" has two connections, one goes to the door light activation switch the other needs "power". It would be better still if...

Hi, does anyone know where to wire these up as there is no door switch on my clk Any help or ideas please:confused:

Just ordered 4 illuminated door sills for my W210 (1996). Any tricks for the electric connections? Can it be connected to the doorswitch? Any problems with lamp monitoring?

Has anyone put these in?? Just wondering if they look tacky and what the quality is like from places like mercedes performance or gericia? Do they have any rubber protection on the edges to stop wear against the paint? Also how are they lit, is it a bulb i can change, or when it goes it goes...
