I've just noticed my sat nav on my 2012 C63 is picking up temporary speed limit signs, the ones at the side of the road held down with sand bags, as well as the permanent ones, it's accurate to the yard, I'm confused as to how it does it, anyone know?

Can the 4k rev limiter be turned off? i know its to protect auto gearboxs, i have a w210 manual petrol but it is still programmed in. I guess it uses the front wheel speed sensors as a reference as it still kicks in neutral and even when doing a stationary burnout.

I dont know if this is true in all the 55k engines, but it certainly is in mine. I cant rev it past 4,000 rpm when at standstill. Is there any way of removing this limiter so it can rev more freely like a C63 etc etc. Thanks

Where can I find the part number for W208 cab bow ram limit switch? Talking to dealer on phone he is not much help and wants the car, not content with details of VIN etc. Thanks.

Hi Gang... have an E320 estate (2000) ....cruising along nicely 70mph + when gearbox dropped out and engine reved up to limit... and stayed there!!!! went into N and turned her off and tried to restart but to no avail.... managed to slide off the road and bring her to halt... all brake warning...

HI all, i noticed oil today from the air inlet side of the turbo, wont rev past 3k and then makes a rattle noise and the a sound like a dump valve... turbo u/s ? was only replaced a year ago :( i have it booked in for a star read with olly on the 10th but noticed this today.... photo here...
