Just a query... I have a c230k, 04, 1.8 auto. Had it for a few wks now and just wandered what others were getting with regards to mpg. Have had it on a few runs and averaging 65-70mph its returning 35-40. Would you say this was about right for the car or could i be getting more? Thanks

How can you achieve nearly 50mpg out of a 3.5L V6 with over 306hp? What's the most you've had out of your 350 guys? In the last 5k I've done in my C204 350 I've averaged 40mpg , mainly motorway driving. I'm so impressed with the efficiency of this new 350 engine. Shame it's discontinued now.

Still running in the C63 Estate and just completed a trip on the weekend from NW London to Dorset. On the way down got 22mpg and on the way back 24. Fairly sensible driving but with a few hefty accelerations now and again. Will be interested to see whether I can exceed 24.
