So i am looking for a bit more power for my 2010 C63. Thinking about a map (obvious route!) an I know of eurocharged. They have quoted me £850 for the handheld and £695 if I go to them. I quite like the idea of being able to put the car back to stock when it goes in for a service. Are...

Can anyone tell me why some cars have to have the ecu taken out to remap it? What is done when it's taken out that can't be done with it in the car? Had a few quotes from various places & one place said £300 & another said £430 because the ecu has to be taken out to do it. Mark

Hi all. I have a C180k W203 model. Currently has 146bhp. There's a place near me that does remapping for about £250. Before I spend that sort of money, I'd like to know if it's actually worth it. Estimates reckon I'll get about 172bhp after and a bit more torque but minimal fuel improvement...

Just traded my C63 in for an E63 S. I had a Eurocharged handheld and re-map for the C63 which transformed the car. It was also useful for when the car went to the dealer and I could return it to standard. Is there such a thing for the E63 and if not can anyone recommend a re-map? Cheers.
