My '95 E320 Cabrio has a faulty Rev Counter that has a mind of it's own on certain days and on others it's just fine !!! Not sure if this an electrical problem or mechanical so any input on how these work would be good :thumb: Thanks

Hi everyone thanks for your time: My 2004 E220 (W211) CDI can idle perfect for hours on end but when I rev it up over 4000rpm and let off the accelerator the car starts choking itself and cuts out. Then after leaving the car for 10mins it starts first time and can idle for hours again...

is there a way to change the rev limit so that it will rev to full when standing instead of limiting out at 4k? or even be able to put it on a switch? or does it have to be plugged in to change that?
