Hi.have found some old/new stock mercedes parts.can I decode vin somwhere so it tells mw what vechile/year parts I have?? Any websites I can check out? Have googled few part numbers but cant find what vechile part off??? Any help with this would be much appreciated. Cheers

that particular part is of a 904 model Sprinter Van.

I believe its part of the rack and pinion steering of a FIRST GENERATION sprinter van W901-905 1995-2006

There is no site as such but always useful to simple put the full number without gaps into Google and see what comes up.
TRY Spikes site Google Translate

navigate down thro the menu e.g. europe/vans/body etc and you should get a list of model numbers---- the first 3 nos on the part no usually designate which model the part came from first. so A901------- was first used in a 901 van but the same part is often used in subsequent models in the same model line hence the 904 etc

ps check it out on the site there should be pictures.item 5 right drive reconditioned unit only now
