I recently sent the instrument panel off to be rebuilt by ACtronics, who returned it with a clean bill of health. At first, all seemed fine, but now they operate intermittently. Whilst driving, there appears to be an occasional complete loss of power to the clocks, causing the speedo and tacho to freeze where they are, and the temp and fuel gauges to read zero. If the instrument panel is still in this frozen state when I park up, the speedo and tacho can be reset by turning the ignition on and off 3 or 4 times. Also, there is no illumination to the fuel and temp gauges, or to the digital mileometer/trip/outside temperature readout.

Clearly, I have to contact ACtronics, but if there is an issue with intermittent power to the unit - as there seems to be - has anyone else had a similar problem, and found a solution? Might it be a faulty relay...somewhere?

Any suggestions gratefully received.
