I am selling a C240 that is no longer being used as a replacement car has been purchased. It would be ideal for Parts or if you are dedicated it can be restored. The majority of issues are cosmetic. The Engine and gearbox work perfectly and the lester interior does not have any rips or tears and bot driver and passenger seats in the front are heated and electric.
Mileage is on 155k and the car could benefit from a service and new plugs. The water pump was recently replaced but due to a bolt being snapped from the last owner and the pump being glued in place it has had some heat proof putty applied to hold it in place. Its only 1 bolt of the 10 that is snapped but its just the head of the torx screw so there is still .5mm sticking out of the engine block so it hold the pump in position. The putty is ply to ensure no water leaks.
All the panels have rest except the driver side rear wing. The drivers door drivers rear door are ok but the passenger side door have serious rust patches which we have patched to ensure no moisture gets in the car.
The car still has an MOT until March 2016 and the tax is still on the car until end of December. So if you have a valid insurance for the car you can drive it away as it was being used daily up until 2 weeks ago after purchasing a newer car.
The heating works hot and cold although the air con will need regaling as we have owned the car for 4 years + and purchased it on 131K we never gassed the air con as it was never used on long journeys.
It has a private plate at the moment which will be removed but you can check the MOT history at

The last mot had both rear brake lines replaced which is a massive job that involved dropping the rear sub frame so the brake lines will be perfect.
As you can see from the images the issues are mainly rust.
I am just looking to get rid of the car as its just sitting there. The battery is pretty much shot and needs replacing but it does start and is started daily to keep the battery going. It would be ideal for any garages looking for an engine or gearbox or if you have the time to restore it would make an ideal project.
