Just wanted to share with you all our 1st merc, its a w164 4matic in obsidain black, after taking delivery i set about washing the car, followed by full decontamination of the paint and a one step macine polish followed by the application of a ceramic nano coating in the form of Cquartzuk.. Bottom thumbnail is a video of the coating :)

The coating itself is really easy to apply actually buddy, using the included applicator clothes you rub on the paint gently until it flashes, leave it for a minute and buff off with the suede microfiber,
You can only use the applicator clothes on 2 -3 panels though because the remaining coating absorbed to the cloth starts to turn to glass..

The important thing is the preparation, the panel must be as clean and oil / grease free as possible, also you want the best shine possible because essentially your locking away that shine and anything else underneath this glass coating.

So after a good wash, decontamination and machine polish you need to use some ipa or similar to remove any polishing residue and oils left behind.

Just got a W209 clk convertible in the same colour. What product did you use for the 1 step machine polish?
