2002 w211 e320 front seats lumbar etc

Since owning my e class the front seat lumbar/pulse/dynamic function hasnt worked. I think the lumbar might have worked once very slightly & briefly but that was it. I really need it working as i have a bad back. The fuses in the boot are ok. What can i check?

i have found some docs that refer to the pipes coming out of the 'floor' into the seat being prone to leaking under the seat. you might need to get it reset with star - or the pump might have burnt out - does anything work? if the side support works (like mine) then the pump is ok - its something else. I dont think these are terribly reliable....

No nothing on both seats work. Only the heat, cooling fans & adjustment functions work.
Can the pump be powered up at all by myself?

Pump's dead then? Im new to this model so will bow out due to lack of knowledge.
