Well my mate went and bought an immaculate black one and I thought I'd better have a drive and see if it was anything like my CLK500.
Chalk and cheese is the phrase. Yes the engines are pretty much the same but the 7 speed box on it appears to make it faster through seamless gear changes I guess??
Interior is much higher quality (coming from S class I would have thought so)
Ride is very smooth, tightens up nicely in sport mode. Steering also sharpens up.
Main difference? Well it's the looks you get from everyone. Big black menacing coupé thing going on
