It's very difficult to understand why people want to buy this marque, when there are Kia and Hyundai 4 x 4s out there which knock Jeep way out on quality/reliability.

We bought Jeeps owning every Grand Cherokee and having two Cherokee model excluding the current 10 model on.

They were excellent in a "truck" kind of way, the DID go everywhere and had simple mechanical diff-locks a two speed transfer box, rear LSD in the rough it made it a delight in ice- snow- mud- rocks.

The later ones got softer admittedly but this latest thing,,,,,, OMG!!! talk about forgetting ones roots.

I would still by a Jeep Wrangler unlimited 2.8 CRD if I saw the right model at the right price, a phenomenal beast too, this is just a joke.
