I have the GTG bug now!!! LOL

Unless we have another generous host (thanks Maff), the next GTG will require even more organisation and date planning.

Why don't we have some sort of survey or plan drawn up of where people are in the UK, so that we can have the GTG so that it as central for everyone as possible?

I thought of posting a UK map for people to detach, mark there spot and re-post, but this could get messy!

Any ideas? I know Shude is in Manchester - anyone furhur north?

Northamptonshire isnt too far from Essex - I can do it in about 1.5 hrs from here - slightly longer for Paul though coming from Kent.

That's why we need to start suggesting dates, and find out who our most northern members are, who are likely to come. Then we can choose somewhere as central for all as possible.


OT:

I know the gearbox isn't the best, I have used better, but it's not as bad as people make out.

I have read in reviews etc that people find the manual and the unconventional handbrake too tricky.

Can figure it myslef. IT'S QUICKER. At the lights, feet do their thing, one hand puts in gear and other releases hand brake.........then grab steering wheel!
