Anyone with this engine should check the power steering hose that runs around the front right (offside) of the engine cover. The cover has a very sharp lip and on my car it had eaten through the "protective" shroud on the hose and had started to eat into the hose itself.
Given that my car (2009) has a very low mileage I suspect similar cars with higher mileage may get the hose punctured if not sorted.
To stop the wear I have have gently applied a tie-wrap to pull the hose away from the cover and added velcro straps around the affected area of the hose.
