Our w124 E320 estate heads to the breakers on Friday (unless someone wants it for £250) and I've a temporary vehicle solution a 2000 V reg Saab 9-5 SE Estate 2.0t Eco power with 126k, not bad at all for £450

I hope this is a short diversion.

What's wrong with your E320?

It's got to the stage cosmetically after the front and rear bumpers where cracked and the interior looks a little tired that the balance between preserving maintenance and major work tipped in favour of an alternative solution.

I shall miss the car, I think the Saab seats have the edge on comfort as does the stereo but one hell of a car that's for sure.
