A noob e280 question (internal fan controls)

Could any one explain to me the internal fan directional controls, I cant work them out, all cars I've had have had pictures of the driver then air flow to face, legs or face and legs, this has air flow all around the body even from behind, well I presume the button with the driver icon and the red leds dotted around it is the air flow

I tend to leave them on auto unless I need quick demist when I use that function.

Ye that's what I've been doing.
Also I've seen on YouTube that pressing the reset button 3 times and going through menus you can check the oil level, tried it but didn't show an option got oil, is this only on certain w211's?
