Advice on Replacing Airbags

I have a 2008 CLC 180, bought the car as a CAT D. I want to buy second hand airbags from ebay.

Steering whel, drivers door and passenger dashboard airbags have been deployed. Belt tensioners are fine.

I know the passenger airbag comes complete with the top half of the dashboard and the steering wheel airbag comes complete with the centre section of the steering wheel.

How do I replace the door airbag, the stitching has come undone, do I need to also buy a door panel?

I believe there is one airbag module, can it be reset or is it better to buy a new one which is around £70

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Buy a new airbag module. (a) you are meant to (b) its probably failed having deployed the airbags (c) you want to know it works if it is ever needed again

You may well need a new contact spiral, others i've seen have burnt out when the airbag was deployed.

I think you need a new door card.
