AMG specialist dealers- out there?

Hi all

We have a W211 E55 saloon and a W212 E250 cdi estate. Given our combined mileage in the family is less than 10k a year, my man Maths suggests it would be better to consolidate to one car (a W212 E63 estate).

My question is what are the main specialists out there that have good amg stock where it is easy to part exchange cars? Before my children came onto the scene I had a number of 911s and there is a super network of specialists where these cars can be bought and sold with ease. I have had a good trawl of the internet but nothing sticks out in particular.

I am reluctant to go an official Mercedes dealer and just get a car auction trade on the E55 (my E55 is a 2 owner car with under 60k and have spent a fortune keeping it in the best condition) and pay top dollar for a used car.

Are there good specialists out there or best to sell privately and then start the hunt afresh?

Sorry I should add I am based in the South East and when I refer to Porsche specialists as comparatives I mean the likes of 911v, Paragon and RPM Technik.

Try selling both on here if you can and then start hunting for the 'right one' with your 'must have' options and 'nice to have options', that way you are in the best position you can by as a buyer :bannana:

I got my 63 from Safwat in Southend. They always seem to have a range of various AMG's and loads of high end stuff. Very easy to deal with and certainly gave me a decent trade in for my SL500 which I was happy with, the price of the 63 before trade was decent too and it's been a great car, very happy.
OK they're not AMG specialists but I'd recommend a look. South East too which might help...I travelled from the Wirral to get it which says something. Ask for Jim or Jeff

I was hoping there would be more of a specialist dealer network to make it easier (I will look at Safwat though) but I will post up at the weekend.

The E55 is Melanite Black which looks black in low light but when sunny and clean, more a very dark green. Spec wise, there are 29 codes in the log book so I think it is pretty comprehensive but includes keyless go and distronic which seems to be a nice to have (but no sunroof). Rest of the car is standard with no modifications (apart form a debadge from me) and a FSH. The mileage is just under 57k. Price wise, I need to think about this.
