Proud dad time.
My youngest daughter passed her driving test today at the first attempt.
On the downside, you may now have to buy her a car
Congrats from me too, well done!!!
Well done that girl. SLK time for her !
Ive got a son & daughter learning at the same time
I can still recall the look of worry on my parents face the first time i drove off on my own after passing my test!
I still remember the look of disappointment on my parents faces when I returned home again.
Sincere congratulations , but I know from experience that this is the time parents start worrying about their youngsters going out on their own - for a while anyway .
Well done that girl.
Now you have a whole new set of problems... car and insurance. Good luck with both, especially the ins.
Looked at the various options of car and insurance.
By middle of next week, she 'might' have a new Fiat 500 to enjoy.
Weirdly, the insurance on an 8yo Ford Fiesta is the same as a brand new Fiat 500 .....
They're more worried about a car load of exuberant teenagers meeting a lamp post at speed than the difference in cost between an old and new car - the latter probably has better crash protection.
Congrats to your daughter. I passed first time, and then had two crashes in one day!
That is good news Steven.

I wouldn't shackle my daughter to a black box.
Added to the multicar policy and pick it up tomorrow night.
