Yep , and the model used in the series was built my Nieman Models ( specialist model helicopter shop ) in Wembley , just down the road from where i used to live.

It was an impressive model.

Yes, I remember.... the heat-seeking missiles hitting a barbecue stand...

The movie had Roy Scheider, wasn't too bad. There was also a TV series, which wasn't that great.

TV Series was Air Wolf wasn't it?

Film Trivia: Jan-Michael Vincent (Captain Stringfellow Hawke) was Charles Bronson's apprentice in the original 1970 version of The Mechanic, now a remake with Jason Statham.

Who remembers the Gemini Man?

Me too.

Didn't it live behind a poster that it tore through every time it came out.

Airwolf was the best looking chopper , but i could never figure out how the government couldn't find it after Stringfellow Hawk stole it. It was a big black helicopter and he used to leave it in a hollow mountain in the desert ...

Even if they lost it , they would have an idea where it would be , they could just ask local folk ' seen a big black attack helicopter recently ? '

Or am i reading too much into it ?

I remember The man form U.N.C.L.E... and The Avengers.. and The Saint... and The Persuaders... :D

Yep I saw the movie Blue Thunder at the cinema - good fun.

The Gemini Man was great. It was about a bloke called Sam Casey who good turn invisible when he pressed a button on his watch!! Great stuff when you're a kid!

The A-Team were excellent in firing automatic rifles in all directions and never actually injuring anyone. And when the MPs chasing them crashed there was always the soundover 'Are you OK Hank' 'Yes, I'm Fine Sam' so that we know that no one got seriously hurt....
