Anyone got the 1996 AMG Brochure ??? S202 Rear Bumper ????

got to be the 1996 one. Basically I did not think that there was a prefacelift AMG Kit for the S202 until I saw one on a car !!! . If it does actually exsist it can only have been a limited time only option available in 1996. The rear bumper on the car I saw did not look like a knocked up in my shed, I had a very close look and definately seemed to be proper plastic not GRP.

Can anyone help ?

Are the S202 and W202 bumpers not the same? I assume they were as I have an S202 and a W202 bumper for it, but never got round to putting it on.

Fronts are the same . Rear estate bumper is a bit longer

You sure? ive read many a time that bodykits are completely interchangeable.

As KillerHertz, I think and have always believed there is no difference between the estate and Saloon bumpers.

In addition to this, if you fit facelift (or C43) bumpers to a pre-facelift they wont fit snug unless you get the facelift hangers. - this maybe what is causing the confusion re: them sticking out longer.

Buy a set of these and your sorted.

The front and rear bumpers are the same in w202 estate and saloon my old kit is on member s estate and I had it on a saloon
