Goodday enthusiasts. May anyone assist me with the part number for the ASR control module for a 1999 w202 c240. Previous one was stolen together with the ECU so didnot have it. VIN WDB2020262F816760 if it helps. Thanks in Advance.

PS., i assumed it is the ASR module because the car has ASR off button on the dash.

Do you mean the ASR hydraulic unit?

If so, its either A 004 431 66 12 (TEVES) or A 003 431 31 12 (BOSCH), parts 30 and 35 in the 42_064 list and picture.

If you mean the electrical control unit it's either A 017 545 73 32 (BOSCH) with footnote 11,880 or A 019 545 31 32 with footnote 12,880, parts 116 in the 54_080 list and picture.

You have ASR, its option 471 on your datacard. I think it should be the TEVES unit, but am not certain of the full meaning of footnotes 11 and 12 against the parts.

I attach EPC parts list, picture,,footnotes and your datacard to assist you:

OK, but info for that is the 3rd para of my post.

What I have noticed is the pic of the electrical control units I attached (54_080 pic.pdf) is actually for earlier models, the one attached now should be for your car.

I think the second number I gave you (A 019 545 31 32) is the one for your car, assuming it is a 202. F/G as per footnote 12, the Bosch part is for a 202.A. I am not totally sure what 202. F/G and 202. A signify, but your VIN does have F before the chassis number and I know other cars can have an A in that position.

Good luck with the part hunt.
