Hi all, i have a 59 plate b180cdi se, with the audio 20, i have lost radio reception, been told likely to be antenna amp, can anybody tell me where this is positioned in car? and any tests that could clarify? Many thanks in anticipation

Its the base part of the antenna on the roof
It can contain FM/AM antenna, Phone antenna, GPS antenna depending what options you have fitted
They do fail.

If its like my C Class, the amplifier fuse also feeds the alarm Siren, so check if that has blown, maybe your siren got soaked with all this water about.
On MY09 B class, the power is phantom fed over the coax from the head unit (power for FM/AM, and for GPS)
On older ones, FM/AM has a separate feed, but again from the head unit
Telephone is not amplified in the antenna
