We're planning going to The Beamish for a weekend at the end of June

Knowing what a discerning and well travelled lot you all are, does anyone have a recommendation for a B&B or reasonable hotel in the general area please?

Best Western Beamish Hall is right on the doorstep. Beamish Hall Country House Hotel, County Durham Hotel, Weddings, Meetings and Events, North East . I haven't stayed there because it's very close to where I live but I can vouch for the food. The Trip Advisor reviews don't seem too bad.
