Best product/way of cleaning drimey engine

How do i get the engine looking nice and clean again after it got dirty doing various jobs over the past year

Autoglym Engine and Machine Cleaner works well for removing oily/dirty deposits from the engine and Autoglym Vinyl Rubber Conditioner works well for dressing, again just spray it all over and allow it to dry (it does dry clear). I'd recommend giving it a wipe over with a cloth after a few hours (1 hour minimum) to reduce the shine to make it look matte and dust will be less attracted to it also.

Both of the above are available from Halfords and IIRC there is a 3 for 2 on at the moment.
