This is my first time on here so here goes.
I've got a 2004 Vito 639 115 cdi with the standard steel wheels and standard 205/65/16 tyres. I would like to fatten up the wheels in the arches a bit to improve the looks but can't afford alloys.
I've got three questions if anyone can help (its amazing how many differing answers you get down at the tyre depots!) :-
1. Can I safely fit wider tyres on the standard steel wheels i.e 225/60/16?
2. Can you mix sizes e.g 225/60/16 rear, 205/65/16 fronts?
3. Are spacers safe on a van? Can you fit them to steel wheels - they are always advertised for alloys? What size 5mm, 10mm, 20mm, etc?
