Our bird box had gone rather quiet these last few days, so went to have a look. 3 bundles of fluff waiting for their next meal.

After I left the mother quickly returned :)

Just thought I share in one of the simple pleasures in life.

Brilliant. Hope they all do well. What are they?

A Blue or Yellow Tit.

Excellent! Keep us posted on their welfare. :)

Sadly our Daughters birdbox with 5 blue tit eggs in it got moved by a cat recently and ended on the ground . New box location being considered but all eggs damaged and parents have gone elsewhere.

I think if you empty the box you may get lucky with a second sitting - don't know how late in the season you can leave it, but you've nothing to lose.

I wish i made one of these, every time a nest is made around my house, neighborhood cats get to the babies before they mature enough to fly.

I'm strugging now- that's such a lovely scene and being a lifelong animal lover I appreciate the "natureness" of it all.

However, the opportunity to jest about bird's box and her great t*ts is just too strong...........aarrrgh .

The birds have fledged. The nest is nearly 2" thick, made from moss and sawdust from our hen's house.
