That's exactly what a C36 was, they all started as C280 Auto's, and were taken off the MB production line at a certain point to be finished off by AMG.
Shame theres no pic of the engine as Lorinser IIRC fitted their own tuned engine, and had certain parts of the engine detailed in a bright blue
 
Hells Bells thats a garish interior! So is it a genuine c36 or modded after sale?

I should imagine this car started out as a C280 manual and either taken part built (dont know if lorinser had the clout to do this) or faffed about with straight after sale.
