I was very impressed when you came to the Brooklands AMG GTG, great colour.

It's been a long and very interesting journey. Many thanks for sharing and it's great the car is going to someone that will appreciate all the hard work that you have done.:):):)

Do we know the new owners ?

Yes the Owner is a New Forum Member and really decent chap, I'm sure he will make himself known.

Thankyou Sir C43AMG for your kind comments, was lovely to meet you also :)

Hi Everyone,

It was me that purchased the car and after 2 train trips , 1 tube ride and 3hrs I got to see Gavin and the car and wow what a car it is.
Everything on the car is flawless.

I just want to say how refreshing it was to meet a proper genuine person and seller who I will keep in touch with.

I will be on the forum and plan to come to the meets soon

Duo Valve Doh....

Well...... as some of you predicted the Heater played up again, Sooo guess what i've been doing.

duo.jpg

Took around 1hour to fit and bleed up, Not a nice job but i've done far worse on these cars now lol.

So far so good was a pitta to get the valve back in but go there in the end. Finger's crossed Taking the car out tomorrow so will soon know whether it was the problem.

I need to do this job on the e class.

I have been told it’s possible to do it without touching the brake master. Any tips?

That reminds me - let me fire up the WIS, and I'll get back to you Abs :)

Cheers David :)
