got a c180k sports coupe on a 53 plate.
Recently while driving ive been getting headaches, sounded like a blow from exhaust, check it out, all's fine!
Then noticed a "sucking noise" coming over from the passenger side on acceleration and my K&N not making as much noise as it did.
Popped the bonnet and on closer inspection the pipe out the back of the airbox, leading down to the kompressor is caked in thick "oily ****" ... Mechanic also rekons theres a smell of hot oil in the same area. (which could be causing a headache)
Car was warm after been driving for 25 mins, also took the air filter out and had steam from the intake behind it.
Im guessing this isnt good at all... but any clues would be great??
obviously the intake pipe needs replacing but didnt want to start taking that apart without all the parts for the job to hand.
