I had my C270CDi Superchipped in 2004 and the car is shortly going back to the lease company.
I have 2 options. Either leave the chip in place when the car goes back because it will go straight to an auction and be sold. Or I remove the chip and replace the original chip.
The second option has a cost involved and I was wondering could this chip be used by any other C270CDi owners? I know nothing about these chips so I am unsure as to whether a fellow C270 owner could just put the chip into their car and use it.
If I have the chip removed and replaced it will cost me around £100 to do so, is this chip worth £100 secondhand or should I just leave it in place?
