c280 w202 crank pulley

Hi, so i recently bought a 98 c280 with little history, i gather the crank pulley has a rubber component. when this starts to go does the engine feel a little rough when reving?

and is the crank pulley a dealer only part , cant find one on eurocarparts website.

It would appear so. Usually when these pulleys let go they develop a distinct wobble which you can sometimes see if you look at the pulley with the engine running. Check the price of the MB part-it may be competitive?

i had a good look and the rubber component looks in decent condition. only 2 previous owners and first one had it well past the recommended service point. so am pretty sure its been replaced when it should have.
