Just love that, " in total about 320 units". So how many were made for the UK?

Really? There seem to be a lot around!

Seems to be the case for a lot of the rarer specialist/performance cars though.

Eg - there were only something like 200 CLK55s sold in the UK (208 model), and you see them for sale all the time. C43s rare too, always a few about.

Silver Arrows R129, only 100 IIRC, and we've had a few on the forum, seen a few on the roads/for sale etc.

Give it a few more years and the C36 will be a fairly rare car, quite a few have been broken for spares now and as they're not worth a great deal at the moment some are falling into poor condition - the clean ones will be scarce.

Hi,
Bit of interesting info there were only 207 C36's that passed the MOT test in 2007
314 C43's, 49 C55's (203), CLK55's 2000 140 cars, 2001 60 cars, 2002 27 cars, 2003 250 cars, 2004 118 cars, SL60's 36, SL600's 96 (129), though not indicative to how many there were originally, or even of how many that are left as it won,t include ones in storage or long term off the road, but i would,nt think there would be to many of them.
There always seem to be more 36's for sale than 43's.

ahh but remember that MOT site relies on the tester putting in the correct info... Sometimes the system doesnt bring up the correct model and the tester will put in anything...
