Although the service section in the manual refers to this it does not apply to all builds it seems.

In another thread someone referred to there being a sticker on the windscreen advising this and my local dealer asked if I had been sent a letter by MB, I have neither and the car was a late June 2017 delivery.

MB customer services have advised that, after checking with their Technical Specialists, this was not a requirement for my car.

Obviously sensible running in still applies!

I'd still have the diff oil changed along with every other fluid after your running in perioud, it will remove all the metal fillings from the run in process.
Just helps to prolong and prevent any wear from having contaminated oil.

I received a letter from Mercedes AMG a week after my car arrived January 2017, and had it done after 2K miles. My advise is to get in touch wth AMG via the private lounge if your dealer is not helpful.

......and put a magnetic drain plug in...
