CAR SOS - that parts shop

Watching Car SOS last night and I had a lightbulb moment.

In the repeated episode with the Cortina, a shop called something like "Collectors Car Parts" was shown. Does anyone know where this is?

Actually, I've just seen, it only stocks parts up to 1980.

I know I shouldn't derail my own thread, but I'm going to ramble on a bit here, safe in the knowledge that few folk will look.

I love watching Car SOS on several levels. Mr 110RRY is sort of a Brummie, and I love the accent. I have an old car. I always wipe away a tear when the cars are miraculously returned to their owners (generally older and often very ill/frail). And they include such super-cool experts who do things few other people are capable of.

How much would I love to have my little green Merc Car SOSd? Theoretically, I would give my right arm (I'm left handed). But being on telly? That's scary.

What about you? (if anyone reads this)

I wouldn't. What you see on camera is far glossier than reality.

Someone of my trusted acquaintance did a stint for them in a technical capacity - in some cases they were sufficiently lashed together that the MoT wasn't worth the paper printed on them. Filming deadlines took precedence over everything.
