I am looking at changing my internal Ceiling lights to LED's. Has anyone got a clue were to start.ie were to get the bulbs and how to fit them. original lights seem a little dim after 6 years.

Thanks in advance

You talking about the lights when you open the door, or the ambient lighting which is meant to be dim and controlled through the menu..

Most likely take 28mm festoons

Hi,
I have replaced all the interior lights on my CLS55 with LEDs, except the dim illuminated lighting strip around the interior light units.
Both of the light units have to be removed from the headlining, the front one you need to remove the rear view mirror to remove the light cluster.
The overhead lights are 501 Can Bus type of bulbs, the vanity mirrors, puddle lights (front & rear) the footwell lights (front and rear) glove box light and boot light are 36mm festoon Can Bus.
