CL55K Exhaust

Hi.. I was thinking of getting a resonator delete done to my newly acquired CL55K, however on looking underneath it appears it might have already been done? Or do the Kompressor models not have a resonator compared to the NA models?

Can't view your photo but I can confirm your CL55K will have two secondary cats and a resonator from the factory along with primary cats up by the manifolds.

If anything is missing its been removed already.

Okay thanks...

It looks like 2 boxes right up by the manifolds, then pipes all the way back to the large square tail boxes... is this the same for NA engines as well as Komp?

One question.. whats a resonator?

Looks like both secondary cats and resonator have been removed already. You can see a welded in section of pipe.
I would say the n/a and supercharged engines both have similar exhaust systems.
The resonator is just another box put in the system to reduce noise along with the rear mufflers.

Thanks for the help... I think you are right... I'd be interested to compare to another CL55 car one day, however as yet i've not seen another...
