Hi All,

At some point i'll prop need to remove the door trims so a good time to clean them, its been bugging me for a while its a 1999 W208 with light grey plastic trim, bit dirty tried cleaning it to pull the dirt off the plastic with little joy - I suspect it has been sprayed with the evil dash spray and sealed it in, what's the best way to clean it please if at all?

autosmart g101 diluted at 5:1

The only thing I've found to properly shift the ground in muck on the Beige trim on my w124 is a "Magic sponge", which come in a box of 6 from the pound shop. Just dip in a bit of warm water, and rub on the trim, and all the ground in dirt just lifts off. Superb product.

You could try wet wipes, they seem to clean everything but keep away from varnish it may take it off, my granddaughter left one on a french polished table (well it was once). But it magic stuff, it cleans a keyboard up a treat

Hi all, thats great many thanks for the suggestions plenty to try
