CLK W208 - no digital MPH readout

Does everyone with a facelift CLK (99 model) have a digital MPH readout? I have everything but that it seems. Is this something to do with a faulty sensor or do some facelift cars simply not have the function?

Do you mean the recorded average speed? If so yes.

If it's facelift it should be on the centre display.

Get onto the total mileage display and then i think its the top right button to get onto it.

Was 99 a facelift year ?

Yep mine has the updated dash and mirrors. Its a very late 99 car. Recorded av speed too? I seem to have neither. Will look on the total mileage menu and see what I can find.

It wasnt on all 99 models, fact I have a 2000\W e-class that also doesnt have this feature. If your cluster was replaced (many were due to pixel issues), then the later clusted will have this feature.

My 2001 CLK has the digital MPH readout, but my 1999 W210 estate doesn't.

I posted about this before, I wonder if it's a coding issue that could be changed with STAR?
