Cut long story short now driving without front anti roll bar.
Remains of broken bolt stuck in both sides, local spanner monkeys cannot remove and have advised get new subframe.
Anyone have any ideas/options on this???

Take it to a decent mechanic.
They will drill out the old bolts and fit new ones.
If the original thread in the subframe is damaged then they will use a nut on the top and clamp through the subframe.
Fairly common issue as MB use very long bolts which have a large amount of exposed bolt thread which rusts and causes the bolt to shear upon attempted removal.

Thanks, I did think of drilling and putting in sleeves? Was a bit worried as subframe us alley.

Drill and fit with but and bolt?

Go straight through them with a decent drill bit (it's all alloy anyway) Nut and bolt them, job done.
