I'm thinking about changing my standard clocks and dials with black background in my w211 E class to the silver with chrome trim. Ive noticed you can buy the complete units on ebay and from breakers but I'm a bit unsure as to how hard it will be to do it and if it will affect any of my dials mileage etc if i change the complete unit.
I'm sure someone on here must of done it before if and I would be eternally grateful if you could advise me of how best to go about it.

when i say complete unit i mean instrument cluster. so basically what i'm asking is if I change my instrument cluster will that affect y car in any way?
