CLS500 4.7TT 2012,, SL350 09, 996 cab, all current. Gone :CLS 55 E500 W211, 2x M5s and too many 911s
Don't know if anyone is interested but I have 2 CLS price lists , one from Jan 2005 and one from Oct 2005 (2006 model year)
It gives the standard equipment for the CLS 55 and all the options available and their prices.
Happy to provide info if anyone is unsure what is standard or is just trying to price up their car when new.
With options mine went from £70595 list to £82645!

Hi,
I to also have a CLS55, MY 2006 model.
Would be interested in what the standard spec of a 55?

ok all this is standard equipment that isn't obvious;

18" AMG twin spoke Wheels
Airmatic suspension
Electric folding door mirrors
Bi Xennon headlamps +wash and active.
Remote boot release (not lock/close)
AMG Nappa leather
Electric seats column and mirrors plus memory
heated seats with multi contour backrests
Dash trim silk burr walnut
Auto lights
rain sensing wipers
remote central locking
Tyre pressure loss warning system (not Monitoring)
Audio 20 radio/single CD 10 speakers and tel key pad

Thats about it everything else that is standard you would expect...headrests, locking wheel nuts etc. Everything else is an option.

Interesting, my 09/05 brochure for the CLS shows Luxury Climate control as standard on the AMG and heated screen wash system, whilst the bi-xenons with active curve is an option?

yes indeed you are correct luxury climate control 4 zone and heated screen wash system are also standard.

Both the Jan 05 and Oct 05 price list has the Bi xennon headlamps with active light system and wash as standard equipment.

I've also the pride list and hard back brochure
A friend purchased it for me as a new car pressie when I bought the CLS :)

Take a look at this I have in my cars paperwork - bare in mind these are 2005 prices!

I have the 19" AMG alloys and flat bottomed steering wheel (I assume that's an option). Not sure what other bits and pieces I can think of but intrigued what those options came in at.

Actually mine is an 07 63 so may not be the same. Interesting all the same. :)

Cheers, :thumb: I believe the only options it didn't have from the factory was Distronic (I have now retro fitted this) Linguatronic and Keyless go.
Are there anymore options that have not been mentioned?

Interesting where did you get the distronic fitted ?
Cheers Mike

I did it myself, with a variety of new and second hand parts, then I plugged my STAR machine in and coded it in.
I have since had my car's Data card updated to reflect Distronic now being fitted.

Auto dipping rear view mirror was also standard on the 55 but not on the 'cooking' versions which I find amazing given anything above a pauper spec Corsa had it in 2006.

Seems they added on even more options on the W218 as mine was £95k new!
