CLS55 Door Mirror Glass

Just looking for some advice. my driver side door mirror glass is shot and i need a new one. I believe the part number is A2218102621 but i can't seem to find a cheap one but i have found a A2218102821 which is still listed for a CLS.

Any one able to tell me if this still fits OK? mine is heated and the auto-dimming function

Are you sure the first number is right, on my copy of EPC there are two that are right year, right hand side and anti dazzle... A2218102821 and A2218100621.

Only the latter is listed as being aspherically curved but the other difference is the latter is up to 31/6/2006 and the other from from that date to 2008 which would coincide with the change in mirror housing i believe.

Might all be exactly the same in practice.

I had a quote from MB Newscastle not long ago. Around £80 for passenger side on mine.

Driver's side will be more expensive because it dims whereas the passenger side doesn't.
