COMAND APS Switch Off Timing

COMAND APS (2010 E63) - I find that if I'm washing the car, the unit shuts itself down after a short period of time, when the key's not in.

I've trawled the enormous manual, but how to lengthen the time isn't jumping out at me.

Any advice please?

When engine is off, if you turn it on, I think it runs for about 20 mins (to protect the battery) - and this is not changeable

It only runs a few seconds after you turn off and remove the key

Thanks, it seems to do the same (switch off after 20 mins) even if the ignition is in position one (dash lights on).
