Current Volvo XC90.

On my 3rd Volvo.
First was a mk1 S60 D5....85,000 miles not a single problem.
Then my Merc C350d.....Too many problems to list. Great dealer though.
Then a V60 23,000 so just run in but Mrs C liked the XC60 so traded.
The current car XC60 D5 Polestar upgrade. 60,000 3,5 years old. Just one battery needed under warranty. 5 years servicing for £500.
Tried the new E220d , very nice but no where as comfortable as the Volvo.
Seriously considering the new XC90.

I'm starting to consider what' next... A Volvo is not even in the running.

Top of the list at the moment is a new Peugeot Expert... A Vito is on the maybe list...

I do like the XC90s

If anyone's looking into the purchase the older shape make sure you grab a D5 as the petrol engines ones suffered from gearbox failure.

An interesting comparison.... Hertz have given me a XC60 D4 Auto.... Very much like my car - apart from being an Auto and a year newer. That year makes 11hp difference..

The combination of Front Wheel Drive, high torques and auto don't suite it. The Torque steer does not bother me in mine as I know what gear I'm in. It's not as easy to control the auto though...

I'm seriously considering a new xC90, I've had a couple of test drives and generally very good.
The only thing is choice of engines is limited to 4 cylinders...

Anyone made the change to a xc90 and have any pointers??
