Yes - but accidentally!

Christmas morning was very mild, so I went for a ride out with the hood down (and a fluffy Santa hat on), to celebrate my recent work on the car.

Got back really chuffed, just as it started to drizzle. Popped the hood up, and was just wiping tiny amounts of moisture off the bonnet, when I caught the star badge at the front, and snapped it off.

So, since online parts orders work even on Christmas Day ...

Not for my Mercedes but I had to share my best Xmas present. Painted by Mrs Ant on a 20" X 30" canvas. It's the McLaren technology centre by night. The iPad picture really doesn't do it justice. The fine detail is amazing.

Means more to me than anything she could ever have bought.
