Hi
I am considering buying a CLK and wondered what to look out for if I choose to go the diesel route, i.e. pros and cons.

I have been driving for 40 years and the only diesels I have driven is lorries and vans and was not over impressed, although I do realise that things have moved on since.

So the question is what is good about driving a diesel and what difference will I notice in the drive, i.e. power, acceleration etc.

I know the mpg will be better, but other than that I do not know.

Many thanks

If it is a four or five cylinder car, it will be a bit noisy, if a six cylinder it will be pretty refined.
Diesels major on torque, so expect quick acceleration.
