Hi folks,
My car is showing an error code of P3002 which I understand is caused by a faulty Differential Pressure Sensor. Can someone give me a head start on where to find this part on my car?
It’s and S320 OM642 320CDI V6 engine.

Thanks.

Found it – but not where the one in the picture is shown. Mine was at the back of the engine bay, behind a heat shield on the bulkhead.

Swapping the DPS cured the problem which manifested itself first as the engine going into limp home mode with very low revs, poor acceleration and no kickdown. No engine warning light initially then on it came with error code P3002. P2454 popped up later as well.
With the replacement part fitted and codes cleared everything is back to normal now.

Hi op great work had the same problem on mine last week. Went to a garage to get repaired. If limp mode comes back it will be because the two pipes leading to the sensor are clogged with carbon.

Give them a good clean it the fault kick back in.

Thanks

Remember to replace the rubber hoses going to the sensors, these are the cause of the sensor failures
