The car needs to be on a ramp..... They can be a bugger to fit even on a ramp.

I took the car to wheels in motion, it took 3 visits to get it right as the steering was off centre. Im still not convinced its perfect, as the steering is quite erratic over uneven surfaces. Might be the combination of lowered suspension and 245 tyres, after WIM did the correction the tyres nolonger rub.
Their equipment is very high end, and they take the time to explain what they are doing and some of the theory behind it.

Any idea what could be causing the erratic steering?

Suggest erratic behaviour is weight shifting from outside to inside to outside edge of tyre, a problem with wide tyres and uneven surface, not quite the same as bump steering where the car veers off line, more of a squiffy twitch as the car becomes undecided. The merest fraction more toe-in may keep it on its outside edges: outside edge stays in a straight line better, inside edge oversteers (ideal is very slight understeer). Can really only be tested on the road where the geometry is constantly changing, as per race car. Get it wrong and you get premature tyre wear and botched bearings.
